Most companies sub-50-gram shafts achieve that weight by reducing the stiffness of their shafts by an entire flex.

In other words, the shaft may say S-flex shaft but it’s really an R-flex shaft when compared to the stiffness of their heavier shafts. NOT the Legacy 4 designs!

After hours and hours of testing and design iterations, the answer became obvious – make the balance point VERY high. Most “standard” 65-gram wood shafts on the market have a balance point around 23” from the tip.

The Legacy 6 wood shafts have a balance point at 24.5” which necessitated a unique stiffness distribution which maximizes your potential distance and control.
